Summary: Flow cytometry of aspirated periprosthetic fluid is an essential component of the diagnostic work-up of breast implant-associated anaplastic large-cell lymphoma. However, few reports of breast implant-associated anaplastic large-cell lymphoma characterize its immunophenotype by flow cytometry, and flow cytometric data describing CD8+ cases are lacking. Here we report a case of CD8+ breast implant-associated anaplastic large-cell lymphoma, and describe its immunophenotype as FAT determined by flow cytometry.
