Summary: This poster discusses patient who experienced a diffuse outbreak of a psoriatic dermatitis with thick ostraceous plaques and perioral fissuring driven largely by nutritional deficiencies. This case helps illustrate the critical role nutritional status plays in modulating immune function and maintaining skin integrity. Nutritional deficiency should be considered in patients presenting with refractory or atypical cutaneous eruptions, especially in patients with underlying risk factors such as malabsorption syndromes or chronic gastrointestinal diseases and especially when the dermatitis fails to respond to traditional therapies.
