Summary: Squamoid eccrine ductal carcinoma (SEDC) is a very rare skin tumor which is often misdiagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma on biopsy specimens. Due to rarity of the tumor and difficulties in diagnoses, molecular characteristics of these lesions are not well understood.
