Summary: Multicentric reticulohistiocytosis (MRH) is a rare, multisystemic disease process characterized by symmetric polyarthritis and papulonodular skin lesions. The etiology is not well understood, and therefore, there is a lack of evidence for targeted therapies. However, it is hypothesized that there is an underlying associated autoimmune or neoplastic disorder. Biopsy is necessary to confirm the diagnosis. Additionally, due to the rarity of the disease, there is no standard treatment protocol.
